Baby Cards w/ Sunny Studios Quilted Hexagons Stamps and Distress Oxide Inks

Welcome it's great to see you :)

I am not often in the need of baby cards so this weeks card is particularly excited for several reasons. First I am waiting for the birth of a new little niece or nephew (and I am guessing the last one).  I will be traveling to Minnesota for the birth....Yay!

On the way I will be stopping in Greendale, WI to visit Gina K. and Kathy Racoosin and participate in The Coloring Challenge Road Trip.  So much fun :)  Because I will be traveling I took the opportunity to make these adorable baby cards so that I would have them on hand for the special arrival.

I had this super cool set that came out in July from Sunny Studio Stamps called Quilted Hexagons.

My grandma was a huge quilter and I have many friends who enjoy it as well.  But me, I'm a stamper, so this set is perfect.  The idea of actually quilting raises my anxiety about 3000% but stamps are my happy place.  This particular set has so many elements to create anything from and old fashioned traditional quilt to a super funky modern design and everything in between.  I decided to use it to create the quilt for my little bassinet cards.  A match made in stamping heaven :)
