My Monthly Hero October 2018 Card Kit -- Special Ultra Dimensional Pop Up Card

I had so much fun creating 3 cards that are the same yet very different.  Hurry over to Hero Arts to get this kit as it is still available as of this writing.

I created a box/book card because I wanted to include this tree.  I die cut 7 of the tree with the center die included out of green card stock, folded 6 of them in half and then glued the centers to the remaining tree to create this delightful little tree.

  • Scissors
  • Purple Tape
  • Tombow Dotted Tape Runner
  • 3/8" Scor-Tape
  • Basic Grey Magnet Discs

Media:

  • Red Ribbon - 
  • Nuvo Glimmer Paste
  • Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
  • Copic Markers in a variety of colors
    • little girl skater R81, R83, R85, T2, T4, YR24, YR27
    • little boy skater BG49, BG45, T4,T7, T10, R37, E15
    • woman skater BG49, BG45, R24, R29, R37, T2, T4, T7

    • Cat - It's a white kitty so I just left it white :)

Papers:

Card #1 and 3 

These measurements are for card 1.  You can adapt them for Card 3 by changing the scoring on the white card stock to 4 1/2" and 6" and adjusting the mats accordingly.

100 lb White Card Stock:

  • (2) -  8 1/2" x 11" pieces cut into  6" x 11" panels and scored on the long side at 4 1/4" and 5". 
  • (1) -  6" x 7" scored at 1" on the 7" side. 
  • Scraps for stamped images

100 lb Red Card Stock:

  • (1) 8 1/2" x 2" strip scored at 1”, 1 /4”, 1 1/2”, 2 1/2”, 2 3/4”, 3”, 4”, 4 1/4” 4 1/2”, 5 1/2”, 5 3/4”, 6” and 7”, 7 1/4” and 7 1/2”.
  • (3) 5 7/8" x 5/8"
  • (1) 5 7/8" x 1 7/8"
  • (3) 5 7/8" square

Patterned Paper:

  • Mats:

    • (3) 5 3/4" x 1/2"
    • (3) 5 3/4" square
    • (1) 5 3/4" x 1 3/4"(4) 5 1/2" x 7" pieces scored every 1/2" on the 7" side
  • Backdrop:
    • (1) 6" Square

White Woodgrain Card Stock:

  • (1) White 5 1/2" square with an interior window cut out that is 1/2" on the 3 of the sides and 1" on the 4th side.

Brown Woodgrain Card Stock: 

  • (1) 5 7/8" x 1 1/2" piece.

Glitter Paper from Kit:

  • (1) 5 1/2" square of Sea Foam
  • Enough to cut out a lake shaped object

Card #2

100 lb White Card Stock:

  • (1) -  8 1/2" x 11" pieces cut to 6" x 11" and from the left over strip cut a 6" strip which you will use to adhere to create a 6" x 12 1/4" panel.  Score this panel at 6" and 6 1/4", fold and score to create card base.
  • (1) -  6" x 7" scored at 1" on the 7" side. 
  • (1) - 3 3/4" x 2 3/4" for front sentiment
  • Scraps for stamped images

 Patterned Paper:

  • Mats: 

    • (2)  5 7/8" square
  • Backdrop:

    • (1) 5 7/8 " Square
  • Front Sentiment:

    • (1)  3 5/8" x 2 3/8"
    • (1) 3 5/8" x 2 3/8" 

Glitter Paper from Kit:

  • Enough to cut out a lake shaped object
